Hi everyone! Thank you for your ongoing support of organic, independent, music! I have been working over the years on material for a new Album that I have attempted to record on my own several times, but due to living conditions, a suitable quality recording space has never been able to be acquired and I’ve always been unhappy with my own recordings. Hello Everyone! It’s been a busy winter period and spring is having a bipolar fit. My expectation was that I would slow down on performances over the winter, but that did not happen much to my delight. A lot has happened since the last post, too much to recite, yet I did want to point out one exciting thing happening. Continue reading
As often as we encounter music, we tend to associate it with fun, hobby, or side interest. Make no mistake about it though, music is a business industry. Hey there fans, friends, and family. In my last post let you all know that I had moved myself and my family to Alaska to start anew in a way I thought would bring opportunity as well as peace. I even found the music scene and began to play in a great band with great musicians. All of the networking in Alaska has been great. However, it saddens me to let everyone know that we’ve discovered Alaska is just not for us.
After an extended amount of time not keeping up with my website, I am again able to devote some time to its upkeep. As you most likely know from Facebook or heard from others, I have moved to Alaska! Its been a fun ride to say the least. With so many changes going on, music has taken somewhat of a back seat. I am beginning to come full circle again and music is once again capturing my focus.
After some time having my new website up and running, I have yet to get around to setting up the event calendar. Well, it is now online. You can view the few events that I have posted so far and can keep up to date by “Liking” my Facebook Page!
There is a map for most of the events for directions.
2nd Street Coffee, located in Ozark Missouri on the square has begun to have me perform monthly at their fine establishment! Check out their facebook page and like it and then come by and get some great coffee or food. Continue reading
I have recently uploaded several new videos to showcase my guitar, banjo, and vocal abilities aside from being just a fiddler. It sounds redundant, but I must expand to new avenues of music. I am a traditional musician and that is going to be my primary influence. However, I see the future of my music to include general Folk music and potentially Irish – although Irish music is a long term thought.
